New service endpoints

We have exposed 4 new endpoints related to Global Employees for our Customers and Partners to consume:

UKG Pro API management strategy employs an API gateway to manage quotas and rate limits for how many API calls an API client can make over a particular time period, normally 1 minute. If the rate of requests has been too high the server is not willing to accept this and will return to the API client an HTTP Status Code 429.

Introducing Model Domains

Ultimate is restructuring our API solution/project structure to be domain based.

APIs are best thought of as a contract provided by UKG to its customers and internal developers. Customers or third-party developers and partners can work with our APIs to build integrations on their own systems. Sometimes it is necessary to phase out an API endpoint (or version). For example, this may be necessary if a field is no longer supported in the result or a business functionality behind an endpoint has to be shut down. There could be other reasons as well.

Swagger is one of the leading standards in API documentation, it's been around ever since 2011 and is the product of SmartBear, the company that made a similar tool in SOAPUI. The community is pretty active and it currently support a wide range of languages: Clojure, Go, JS, Java, .Net, Node, PHP, Python, Ruby, Scala, for each of these languages many frameworks are supported.
