Swagger API Documentation

Swagger is one of the leading standards in API documentation, it's been around ever since 2011 and is the product of SmartBear, the company that made a similar tool in SOAPUI. The community is pretty active and it currently support a wide range of languages: Clojure, Go, JS, Java, .Net, Node, PHP, Python, Ruby, Scala, for each of these languages many frameworks are supported.

Postman - Simplify Your Integration Experience

Integrating with a partner's API can be a complicated process. Here at Ultimate Software, we strive to make your integration with our services as seamless as possible. For this reason, we recommend that your team use Postman to experiment and test out our services prior to integrating within your own applications.

Note: It should be understood that we are only using Postman for UltiPro's REST API's and it is not used with SOAP services.

Imports BETA

Importing data means moving data from a source to target … this is what traditional ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) data tools do.

Due to the number and types of systems that want to integrate with UltiPro, many tools and many people currently collaborate using manual means to get data into UltiPro. That's why we have decided to build Imports - one easily extensible self-service imports engine to get data anywhere into UltiPro

Betas for Partner Integrations

Once joint Ultimate & partner integrations have been verified & validated as performant, secure, & reliable we will want to conduct a controlled Beta with 2-5 joint customers. We will use findings & results of these test cases to improve the product/process, and to make a go/no go decision on launching the integration to the entire customer base.

Some of the profiles we will evaluate to identify joint customers for Beta are:

  • Customer Size?

  • Already Live?

API Guides

After reviewing these materials you will be able to start mapping data flows, models, & attributes between UKG Pro & your system.

Our API guides generally contain this information:
